Introducing IntsOGram
Organo Gold has added to its social media umbrella by today announcing a corporate-supported Instagram account.
Instagram is one of the hottest social media sites, and the latest tech industry success story. The company was founded in 2010 by Stanford graduates Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. The app — which allows smart phone users to add unique, vintage-style filters and frames to their on-the-go photos, as well as add hashtags for instant reference — quickly garnered cult-like popularity amongst everyone from bloggers and celebrities to trend-savvy businesses and individuals.
Facebook purchased the company in 2012 for $1 billion in cash and stock. The platform grew over 23% in 2013, and as of January 2014, there have been over 16 billion photos uploaded.
Organo Gold has been building its Instagram profile for several months, in anticipation of joining this juggernaut of a social media platform. We look forward to seeing #organogold become a popular hashtag, and will cement this launch at the upcoming OG Project 50,000 event in San Antonio, Texas, scheduled for March 7-9, 2014.
